Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or using GCSE Maths Lab, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

“GCSE Maths Lab”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the GCSE Maths Lab service and website. Until we publish a dedicated company email or address, you can contact us via the Contact page.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must have the legal capacity to enter a contract. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. You must provide a valid email address and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account. Each account is for one user only, and access may be limited to one device or session at a time for security reasons.

3. Service description

GCSE Maths Lab provides GCSE-style practice, progress tracking, and mixed-topic drills. Content may change or be updated at any time. We do not guarantee academic outcomes or grades — your progress depends on your own effort and revision habits. The site is designed to work for all major exam boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR), but users should always check their own specification.

4. Pricing, billing & renewals

Subscriptions cost £5.99 per month (inclusive of applicable taxes, if any) and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage your subscription — including updating your card or cancelling — through our billing portal (powered by Stripe). Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period. We may change prices or plans with notice. Changes apply on your next billing cycle unless required earlier by law.

5. Free access areas & trials

Some topics are free to try — look out for topics without a padlock symbol. We do not currently offer time-limited free trials.

6. Refunds & cooling-off

Under UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period when purchasing digital content. However, if you choose to start your subscription immediately, you acknowledge that this means you waive your right to cancel once access begins. Outside these statutory rights, refunds are not generally offered once access has started. In rare cases such as duplicate purchases, goodwill refunds may be considered at our discretion.

7. Acceptable use & security

You agree not to share your account, copy or redistribute site content, or interfere with the website’s performance or security. Automated scraping, mass downloads, or attempts to bypass restrictions are not permitted. We may use technical measures such as session limits or anomaly checks to protect users and the platform.

8. Intellectual property

All content on GCSE Maths Lab, including text, questions, graphics, and code, is owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the website for your own study while your subscription is active. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the website or its materials.

9. Service emails & privacy

We send essential service emails, such as verification links, password resets, and payment receipts. These are mandatory for operating your account. For details on how we process and store data, please see our Privacy Policy.

10. Availability & changes

GCSE Maths Lab is provided “as is.” We aim for high reliability, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. We may temporarily suspend or update features for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

11. Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Except where required by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for paid users is limited to the amount paid during the 12 months before any claim.

12. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time via the billing portal; your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or compromise security.

13. International users & governing law

GCSE Maths Lab is available worldwide, though some features may vary by region. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date, and where appropriate, you may be notified by email or through the website.
