GCSE Maths Lab is an independent online educational service operated by its owner in England. It is not currently operated through a limited company and is not VAT registered. You can contact us at contact@gcsemathslab.com or via the Contact page.

Accounts are intended for users aged 15 or over. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian to create and use an account. A paid subscription must be purchased by someone aged 18 or over. You must provide accurate account details, keep your login details secure, and not share your account with another person.

GCSE Maths Lab provides GCSE-style revision materials, topic quizzes, mixed practice, progress tracking, achievements, adaptive practice and, when available, interactive paper practice. Content and features may be corrected, improved or updated. We do not guarantee any particular academic outcome or grade. Although the site is designed for the main GCSE exam boards, users should check their own current specification.

Twenty starter topics are available free of charge, including without an account. An account is needed to save progress across devices. An active or trialling full-access subscription unlocks the subscriber catalogue and other paid features shown on the site.

Full access costs £7.99 per month. No VAT is currently added. Payment is taken securely by Stripe when the subscription starts and then automatically each month until it is cancelled. Stripe may retry a failed payment, and paid access may be restricted if a subscription is unpaid or no longer active. We may change the price with reasonable advance notice; a price change will not apply before the date stated in that notice, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

The SWAKELEYS26 promotion code may be entered in Stripe Checkout until 31 December 2026. A valid redemption provides full access for one year, requires no payment method where the Checkout total is £0, and is scheduled to end without converting to a paid subscription. We may refuse or revoke promotional access obtained through error, fraud or misuse, without affecting rights that cannot legally be limited.

If you purchase a paid subscription, you may cancel it within 14 days after the subscription contract is made. Email contact@gcsemathslab.com from the address on your account and clearly say that you want to cancel under the 14-day cooling-off period. We will end the subscription and refund the subscription payment to the original payment method. Using the paid service during those 14 days does not remove this contractual refund promise. This section does not reduce any statutory cancellation rights.You may use, but do not have to use, this cancellation wording: “To GCSE Maths Lab at contact@gcsemathslab.com: I give notice that I cancel my full-access subscription, ordered on [date]. Name: [name]. Account email: [email]. Address: [address]. Date: [date].”

You may stop future renewals at any time through the Stripe billing portal available from your Account page. Unless the law requires otherwise, cancellation after the 14-day period takes effect at the end of the current paid month and does not produce a refund for time already used or the remaining part of that month. This does not affect remedies for a faulty, misdescribed or unavailable service.

You must not share paid access, copy or redistribute site content, scrape or mass-download materials, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or interfere with the site or another user. We may use proportionate security and session controls to protect users and the service.

The site and its content, including text, questions, graphics and code, are owned by us or used under licence. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own study while the relevant free or paid access is available. You may not reproduce or distribute them except where the law permits.

We and our providers send emails needed to operate accounts and subscriptions, including verification codes or links, password resets, account-change messages and Stripe payment or billing messages. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used.

We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may maintain, secure, correct or improve the service and may change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces a paid service during a current billing period, any legal rights and appropriate remedies remain available.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing limits your statutory rights relating to digital content or services. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made or were not caused by our breach.

We may suspend or terminate an account where reasonably necessary because of a serious or repeated breach, fraud, misuse or a security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give the user a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. An active subscription must be cancelled before the account can be deleted. Account deletion is permanent; our Privacy Policy explains which information may still need to be retained.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory protections or rights to use local courts that apply to you.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or the law. We will publish a new effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes where appropriate. Changes will not remove rights that arose before the new Terms took effect.
